Who am I that the Lord of all the earth would care to know my name. Why would He care to feel my hurt? I am just a simple gal from Alabama. I’ve never been anywhere fascinating or done anything heroic. I was born. I grew up. I got married. I had children. Some day I will die and go to heaven. I have felt pain, heartache, joy, happiness, sorrow, love, embarrassment, anger, disappointment, fear, and love again during this journey called life.
I’m a christian mother, wife, sister, daughter, & friend. I believe in being the best person I can be. I realize people have different views of what being a good person means. I always try to treat others with as much respect as I can and I hope to be treated as such. I’m pride myself on being able to find a persons inner beauty and not focusing on the outward appearance. I’m a nice person and I don’t get mad or loose my temper easily. But, like everyone, I have a breaking point.
I started blogging after my brother broke his neck in a car accident which left him a quadriplegic. It was a way for me to release all the emotions my family and I were dealing with at that time. The support I received from complete strangers was so overwhelming during his stay in the intensive care. He is home now and doing well physically. Now I use blogging as an outlet to relieve stress and emotion.
I’m 32 years old. I’ve been married for 13 years to Christopher. We have 2 daughters. Allison is 13 and Kelsey is 9. We live in a small town in Alabama. I work full time as an insurance agent. We are youth leaders at church. It is the hardest yet most rewarding thing I have ever done besides being a mom…

He cares about the hurt of all his children, just as you care about the hurt of yours.
The most fascinating people dont have a leg up on anyone for validity of life Susan. It is those who have lived through the joys and sorrows and pains of life and who have raised their children in the image of God who are important.
You have affected my life in a way I can never thank you for. I am sure you have done the same for others; comforted them when they needed some one to listen and made them stop hurting a little or gave them a smile.
A warm soul who has affected many positive changes in the lives of her family and those she calls friends.
That is who you are SJ.
